How fitting. Since my backlog has gone past a full year, I’m posting something that was fitting then, and it’s fitting now, with graduation season in full effect. A lot of people are suggesting graduation topics, but I sort of remember doing something graduation-y. Apparently, it’s been a year.

#19 – college shirt un ng aero engineer sa patts….
#34 is so right. its unfair when people say bad things about others then quip ‘wala kasing pinag-aralan’ when a lot out there with their degrees are also rude and mean.
#35: i graduated from PUP. i missed the eat-all-you-can lugaw at banana que na covered ng sugar…=P
but this is true. one of my classmate is asking more than Php 2000 every enrolment. so pag start na class, naka mossimo shirt! haha!
I like this: “This school is like Krypton; here you feel like a nobody, but out there, you’re Superman!”
School sometimes really mattered. I hear Urban Legends (urban legends?) that a graduate-applicant of certain school will always be favored no matter how deserving other graduates/applicants are. It sucks but it happens.
unfortunately that incident is not an urban legend. hmmm… how did i know? let’s just say that my brother who works for a certain company in Makati. He told me ganun daw talaga yung mentality ng mga taga-HR dun. *sigh*
then why didn’t you enroll in a reputable school? the school should matter, if not e di sa mabababang paaralan na lang tayo nag-aral or somewhere…
so true!
#32 is so true. when you do well in your job, people would often ask where school you’re from. and when they’d say they never heard of it, they’d either be sort of turned off or they simply brush it off. eto yung mga guilty na napasok lang sila sa company dahil sa pangalan ng school nila sa resume nila pero di naman ma-promote. bitter ba? lol!
#24, sounds like VILLAR during my graduation exercises. Said those words exactly and… Was 2 hours late. Oscar Lopez said something like: “To the Honorable Manny Villar, who’s just ARRIVED.” Absolute laugh trip. 😀
buti nakita ko tong link na to sa google, kahit papaano gumaan loob ko kahit di ako ggraduate on time. hahaha

MAGING MATIYAGA LANG TALAGA SA PAG-AARAL AT MAY DETERMINASYON SA LAHAT NG GAGAWIN, SIGURADONG MAGTATAGUMPAY KA.
#37 mas maiging ibang terminolohiya na lang ang ginamit. malaswa kasi at nagmamarka ng hindi magandang ideya kahit pa man sabihing nagbibigay ng kahulugan ang babasa beyond the line
thanks for this site
It’s very ironic. During my years in school, I was aiming to graduate and leave the school because of a lot of school works, projects, exams, etc. Now that I had finished my student life (with flying colors) and strive in the world of work, how I wish I can just go back on being a student. (with my same batchmates) – lessER pressure, lessER problems, moRE fun. And for a year, i’m still wishing for it. (hindi pa naka-move on. LOL)
paki-remove :((( it’s not mine
thank you 🙂
You can add this from the movie ‘the Three Idiots”,
“Make your passion your profession, and work will be just like a game.”
” Pursue excellence and success will follow”
