Last Sunday, Manila Bulletin featured us in their “60 Minutes” series, where interviewees are subjected to 60 minutes of questioning by a panel of interviewers. The panel was composed of: Rachel Barawid, Ronald Lim, Ina Malipot, Jaser Marasigan, and Ivy Mendoza. It was very interesting because this was the first ever panel interview we ever experienced as a tandem. Plus, it’s the first ever interview that focused on our latest incarnation as teachers in St. Paul Pasig. It was just cute that pictures of our students also came out in the newpaper.

It was so cute because earlier last week, our students kept asking us when the issue will come out because they’ll tell their parents to buy copies on that day. We tried to temper their excitement by warning them that although they took pictures of them, it doesn’t guarantee that they’ll use the photos. So we were just so glad that pictures of our girls came out and you could see their lovely faces so clearly. I can almost imagine their faces beaming when they see their pictures in the newspaper.

So again, thanks to Manila Bulletin for featuring us in their “60 Minutes” series in the Students & Campuses section because we really feel honored to be in the company of the other people who were chosen to be part of this. I know we’re also part of the Manila Bulletin family but it’s nevertheless a great honor to be part of this. And I hope the girls all got copies. 🙂
