Since we got into that whole gay Bert And Ernie debate, I got myself in a Sesame Street mood. So I thought I’d share one of my favorite Sesame Street shorts and the new remake/reanimation it got treated to. Remember this?

So I eventually thought, why not post some of my favorite shorts from the Sesame Street. These are indelible sensations to me, transporting me back to when I was a happy little boy, as opposed to the embittered adult that I am…let’s leave that for a future post, shall we? Watching some these got me misty-eyed!

And how fitting, we started playing a song from Rico Blanco which is a remake of Ladybug Picnic, another Sesame Street classic. Here’s the original version, in case you were too young to see it.

How about that segment showing humans and animals alike dozing off w/ the background song “Everybody Sleeps”… Have seen it a couple of times when I was a kid, never fails to make feel sleepy.. =) ….
Oh wow, it’s the first time I saw the reanimated version of the Pinball thing. Galing! hehe
I suddenly feel nostalgic! I love those pinball clips. And also “Letter B” and “Monsterpiece Theatre”

I find them really cute. Although I am not sure if they have a song. Suddenly I am back to my elementary days, singing:

I suddenly miss how it is to be a child. I find myself singing with these songs when I play the video. I also like the man printed in the glass ” mr teeny little guy ” ( not sure about the name).. Salamat chico! Reading this post somehow lessen the stress 🙂
wow! if i could just turn back the time i’d go back to the times when i used to watch sesame street. we even have a set of sesame street dictionary. and 1 line i clearly remember from a sesame street animated skit – a loaf of bread, a container of milk and a piece of butter. =)

before i even got to know how great the Beatles were, when i was about 9 or 10 years old, my fave on Sesame Street was “Letter B” in which beetles muppets were singing… eventually, i learned that it was a spoof on Let it Be…
