2010 RX Holiday Stick-On

It was time for the final stick-on for the year, and we stationed ourselves over at Frontera Drive in Tiendesitas.  We were a bit undermanned, but it was all good, it turned out to be one of our best stick-ons in recent memory.  The weather was great, the vibe was good, everyone had a great time, and we much so many new friends!  I don’t know what it was, but everyone seemed to be in such a good mood that day!  Not so much good, but the vibe was good.  We were just relaxed sticking, talking, laughing, enjoying, like we haven’t done in a long time.

We also met a couple of dogs, too bad we weren’t able to do a pet thing time around, it would’ve been fun to see more dogs, but Delle fell in love with this little one, a Shih Tzu named Oslo:

If it wasn’t illegal to run away with the dog, I suspect Delle might’ve.  So cute.  Look at the way he was staring at her.  And we also met someone from Malacanang!  He gave us these kick-ass stickers:

Ooohhhhh…I can’t wait to stick that on my ride!  But seriously, we met so many nice people this stick-on and it was really a feel-good day for us!  We met parents, teenagers, even kids who listen to us.  Actually, so many of the people who dropped by had their kids with them.  Some said they have no choice but to listen to us because their kids always ask,then to tune the radio to RX, while others had kids who listen to us, because the parents listen (and sweat bullets when we get a little green).  One mom said: “See, so many kids listen to you in the morning, so don’t be bastos before 7:30 okay?”  It was so cute, and we promised her we’ll try to keep it CLEAN as much as we can BEFORE 7:30.  Sori nalang sa mga nasa afternoon class…

People were just dropping by, having stickers stuck on their cars, but also just to chat, new faces introducing themselves, some have been listening for a long time but only met us that day, and a guy even came by saying he’s been listening for 16 years!  Goodness gracious.  So this post might seem a bit photo album-ish, but I really just want to get the feel of the day with so many nice people dropping by.

If I could only post all the photos of the people who dropped by!  Anyway, I hope we have more of those stick-ons, the ones with really good vibes.  And again, thank you to all the friends of RX who dropped by and made the RX Holiday Stick-On a huge success.  It was nice meeting you guys!  Mwahugzktnxbye! checheche… (hahaha chechemon!)
