  1. Hi chico, nice pics. Would you mind telling what resort you guys went to? I’m also looking for a beach resort for a group of friends coming over next month. Thanks! More power to you and Del

  2. I’ve been to dive ‘n trek a couple of times already. The coral reef in that resort is so rich when it comes to it’s biodiversity. It’s so diverse that you don’t have to go too far just to experience it’s one of a kind marine ecosystem. Congratulations to all the RX staff. =)

  3. Thank you for sharing. Bigla kong namiss yung mga antipatika ko mga kaibigan back there. Most of us are now living in different parts of the world. And walang gustong gumastos as to who will go where ;o) Plus, it’s not so easy to get a long holiday (vacation) off. Well, for 3 continuous weeks that is. Sayang naman kasi yung plane fare if less than that.

By the way, ang ganda ng kuha mo sa “tatlong maria” (Christi, Danielle & Delle), and that of Gino and Fran in the water. Composition et al.

  4. Greetings from the Batangas Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry… Thank you for sharing your fun pictures in/of Batangas.
Dive & Trek is actually in Bauan, Batangas. However, Anilao (next Barangay in Mabini Town) became famous as a Diving Destination for its Marine bio-diversity way back in the 1970’s… when the roads were almost unpassable and the place was still considered remote and virginal.
With development and progress came better roads, and more people. The whole bayside (Bauan-Mabini) facing Maricaban Island-Tingloy Town is still collectively known as Anilao (like some Filipinos still call toothpaste Colgate and Refrigerators Frigidaire).
There are now numerous Divesites and Resorts dotting this Bay from Barangay Locloc, Sampaguita, San Pablo etc. all in Bauan Town to Barangays San Jose, Anilao, Bagalangit, Solo, San Teodoro, Ligaya etc in Mabini Town.
We now have a new group, the Philippine Action Group for Social Responsibility Inc., and we hope all stakeholders will work together to promote, preserve, and welcome our visitors. We also have a radio program every Sunday morning at 9am on 98.5FM and DWDD AFP Radio ewvery Monday morning at 1:00 p.m. which is shown on Cable TV6 Lipa every Sunday evening at 8p.m. called Usapang Pangkapayapaan, Usapang Pangkaunlaran – Up, Up, Batangas.

  5. hey is the dog who swims really good still in drive and trek resort? haha i forgot his name. he fetches your frisbee when you throw it in the water. 🙂

    • Yep, that dog is bogart. He’s still enjoys playing frisbee with the students in dive ‘n trek. =)

      • there. yes, it was bogart! he was with us when we went snorkeling haha very very smart dog!

Del, I don’t know if you get this all the time, but I swear you have angles na uma-Alice Dixson (that Palmolive model-turned actress in the ’90s), esp. that pic where you made a peace sign. I work in a big Ad Agency. Ever considered being VTR’d for Ads? Hahaha. Call me.:)
