Believe it or not, we slept from 6pm the night before to 6am the next day! We were cpmpletely knocked out. For me, it was the 12-hour non-stop travel from SG, by land, sea, and air that did me in (not to mention 2 nights of shallow sleep in the hostel with 4 complete strangers #cantmoveon). And when I woke up, I realized I haven’t had a meal the whole day yesterday! I had half a piece of bread in the morning, a fruit smoothie by noon, and a couple of Pringles on the boat. We were supposed to just rest before dinner when we laid down. But I must say, I had a rockin’ body that morning, a flat belly! Because of that I had a HUGE breakfast, a mixture of American (or Amurrcan, as others would say) and Thai. After that, we basically spent the day shuttling between the beach and the stunning saltwater pool, with breaks for meals and lounging about under the sun. We also had smoothies galore to help us hydrate in the intense Thai summer heat. My moment for today was sitting on this bean bag lounge along the beach (the ones in the photo), enjoying the best BJ ever (buco juice), slipping in and out of sleep, as the sound of the waves lulled me gently. This is a rare type of day for us, because we usually fill our days with funfunfunfun activities. So it was a pleasant day just spent recharging and replenishing. In the evening, we strolled along the beach and ate dinner in a small resto in a fishing village. When we got back to our room, we were surprised to see 2 stuffed toys on our pillows! A duck for me and a turtle for BW. i swear, I’m not really into stiffed toys, but I found it the best freebie in a resort EVER. So sweet! We turned in early because we’re going island hopping tomorrow, whee!

Awwww. What a sweet escape – walking by the beach. Haaay, kilig! lol
