Oh gosh, themes like this make me cry much easier than those of death or heartbreak. Stories that involve animals or old parents really tug at my heartstrings. Maybe because I remember my late father, who just had his birth anniversary last Feb 16, who would be the type of dad who’d actually do what the dad in the short film did. It’s such a simple story, filmed very simply, no hi-tech shots, no fancy cinematography, almost no script, but it’s honest heart throbbing at the very core of the films manages to grab your heart and doesn’t let go until the last frame. Kudos to the director!

Oh wow! patapos na lang naiyak pa ako ;((
Truly heart-warming. ;(
simula hanggang end umiiyak ako! anubeeeh!
I thought it was baduy.
This is truly heart-warming, I wish I had a father like him
I’m so touch!
this won people’s choice award in Manhattan Film Festival just very recently. it was in local news in print and tv.
btw, lance, the director, is just an 18-year old UP student. ‘been seeing this young man since he was just a boy. i’m proud to be friends of his parents, a humble couple I look up to.
he’s like my father, he would always say before I leave for work ” O kumain ka na pinaghain na kita ng breakfast”
WOW, nakakaiyak … Absolutely moving;-
Thanks for sharing my film! More power to you!
awww…this made me cry!
I miss my dad so much…I’m here in the UK now and I always miss the days that both of us are having conversations and watching tv during daytime (I was on a night shift at work before) before I go to sleep..good thing there’s Skype, FB and mobile phones so I could still talk to him, my mom and my siblings all the time..
Wow … I was glued to the story from beginning to end! Very heart rending story … like you Chico … I am reminded of my late father.
Congratulations to the people behind this production.
Good short film. I was glued until the end. Almost cried…

Oh, to have someone love us as that father loved his daughter!
