If you guys only knew what kind of buzz was a-twittering when people found out that Xian Lim was visiting the RX booth! Everyone was just stoked because it was just a guesting, he really listens to the show! It’s so funny because one of the first things he did was to ask to talk to the Call Center Guy! He also asked where he could get the Top 10 book, and we were glad to oblige and gave him a copy!

Xian was just so relaxed, he was refreshing to see, not at all what you’d expect from a celebrity who enjoying the peak of his career. He had no airs, in fact he exhibited superhuman powers. Since he got stuck in traffic, and he was upset that he was late, he actually climbed the 17 floors up to our office! And he didn’t even break a sweat!

He was super friendly and accommodating to the Rushers who visited the booth to meet him. He was so game to pose for pictures or to sign stuff for the people who went there to see him. It was just so aliw that when we were telling him that we had to let him go because he still had a shoot at 9am, he was like, “No, I don’t want to go yet!” Within minutes, we were just so comfortable that it just felt like you had a barkada come over for coffee or something.

And then there was the epic rap-off! Oh my goodness, it was a spontaneous decision, we hardly could afford any time to compose anything, but we did it, a Xian rap-off. You could see how amused and bewildered he was hearing a kikay barkada dedicate a rap-off to him, hahaha! He didn’t quite know what he got himself into! But he was just so cool and he just enjoyed himself with the whirlwind of activities we did. That’s what I like about him, he just did whatever it is we asked of him. Like I said, no airs, just a genuinely nice guy.

We also did an Epic Pic (thanks to Merski for the next 2 photos that I grabbed from FB). We tried to do one version first, since Xian likes to pose with his heart hands, we decided to try doing that.

But it was hard composing the photo, since there seemed to be too many elements, and we didn’t know how to fit ourselves into the picture.

So we ended up doing something totally different. This ended up as the final Epic Pic:

Gino hated it, hahaha! But anyway, we had to let Xian go, after a harutan-filled morning with the Kikay Barkada, and we were telling him that he’s more than welcome to come back if he wanted to join us for some more craziness on-air. His fans are legion, and now we understand why. Not just a great-looking guy, but a genuinely nice one as well.
