Addendum: Watching this video again after decades brings me back. I remember recording this video from Video Hit Parade and trying to copy the dance of Dave Gahan as closely as my terpsichorically-challenged feet would allow. Same with Roland Orzabal’s dance in “Mad World”.

I like Depeche Mode but I love Spandau Ballet way better. And this coming from a 1st-grader in ’84 who listens to Tears for Fears and The Smiths more than, say Cyndi Lauper and Bananarama. =)
