It was a CRAZY morning on the show today! As it is, it gets a bit chaotic on the show with 3 loonies on air, but add on a multiple-personality internet sensation like Mikey Bustos, and the gloves are off! Mikey’s about the nicest person you’ll ever meet. If he comes across as a nice guy on his tutorials, it’s because he is. People were tweeting and asking if he’s as nice as he seems in his videos — he is. He was game for whatever it was we asked him to do! From singing One Last Cry to a showdown with The Call Center Guy, to posing for an Epic Pic, to doing his many accents (Frank made an appearance), he was willing to oblige with every request. Even with the Rushers in the booth, we was so game to take pictures and to meet them and to chat with them as much as they wanted. The Rushers who got to meet him just loved him to bits.
The guy’s pretty multi-faceted: he has his tutorials, but he was also part of Canadian Idol, owns an ant shop, and so many other things he dabbles in. It was crazy, I tell you! And hella fun! I really wish we’d get to work with him again in the future, it was really an epic show today, even if I have to say so myself. It’s hard to describe how fun it was, I guess you’d have to listen to the podcast once it comes out. I’m actually excited myself to hear the podcast. I want to hear it from the point of view of a listener.
So to Mikey, if ever you get to read this, I weel jazz plane (not ship) the zizzling kakamver to Canadia, zow yu ken enjoy da thoy ash yu zeet on da veranda, waiting for da theveel. Okey?
