ฉันจะกลับเมืองไทย!

I’m literally shivering with excitement because it’s time for my biggest vacation of the year, my annual November holiday!  So I’ll be away for an entire week, I won’t be on air until Monday next week, November 15!  And with just an hour left before we leave for the airport, I’m almost out of breath with all the last minute stuff we had to do.  As if on cue, this morning, as we were about to close our luggage after we finished packing, the lock won’t work!  We had to bring it back to Megamall, which was traffic like hell today, and had it reset.  Then I had last minute packing (which is par for course for me) and then I just finished organizing my movies and music on my iPod Touch.  Of course, I have my attendant feeling of having forgotten to pack something that I really need for the trip.

I may be away from the radio, but I hope to still be present online.  For the first time ever, I’m breaking one of my BIGGEST rules when traveling: “no laptop”.  For this trip, I am bringing my laptop, mainly because our first resort promises unlimited free wifi, so I thought, why not?  I still plan to get lost on the beach paradise island, and not be distracted by internet stuff, but I promise to try (operative word: “try”) to still blog even if I’m off somewhere, plowing through some Siamese bush.

So, this isn’t goodbye, because hopefully you’ll be hearing from me.  I just need to stop typing now, I need to make sure I was able to pack all my camera gear.  I live for our November vacations, and it’s finally here!  ตราบ!
