Photo Tips For Monsters

Perfect for Halloween.  If you’re a monster.  But funny as it is, I really love this ad because it contains a lot of actual tips for better photography.  Editing and simplifying is one of the essential steps for better photography.  Sometimes just by cropping a few inches here and there makes the difference between a regular photo and a great one.  It’s one of the most important lessons I learned in photography: to take away everything that doesn’t contribute to the photo.  You can do this while framing the photo or during your post-processing.  Of course they just did it in a funny way.  And speaking of, don’t you just hate avatars that misrepresent their owners?  They always look so hot in their avatars but they look sooo different in person?  I don’t mind putting your best photo forward, obviously we all do, because posting an ugly one doesn’t make sense (although we did, but that’s beside the point), but it’s the ones that don’t even look like you anymore.  It’s the difference between choosing the best version of you and outright lying.  Very much like in the video, cute pics of scary monsters.  Love it.

Cool! It’s nice how a 1minute and 24 seconds video can actually discuss and help us in bringing out the best possible photos of us!
