Hehehe, just came home from the 2nd Photoshop workshop I’m taking since I didn’t really do very well with the 1st one. I hope I do better in this one. Wala lang, just wanted to share my first attempt for this attempt to master the long elusive CS3. I don’t know, I’ve tried to learn it, people who are good at it tried to teach me, but I manage to really suck at it no matter how hard I try! Maybe it’s psychological already, that I’ve grown to fear it. But I had a blast, surrounded by friends and familiar faces, I hope the fun and friendly atmosphere acclimatizes me to this waterloo of mine. Everything about photography was a great challenge, but I took to them like fish to water. But with CS3, I hit a serious speed bump. When people start talking Photoshop, I get lost, and it’s like someone hit a language switch and suddenly I don’t understand a single word they’re saying. It’s not hard, really, but I get so confused so easily! I feel like the stupid boy in the class when it comes to this Adobe Achilles heel of mine.
Anyway, here’s my first attempt. I tried to use the pics from the cat portraits I’m about to post on this blog, so maybe working with subjects close to my heart will make the process a little less painless. Hopefully by the end of the month, I’ll be swimming like a guppy in the happy pond called Photoshop.
