RX Company Outing

We had our company outing at island cove a couple of weekends ago, but I couldn’t go with the rest of the group because it was the Saturday that we brought our high school students from our St. Paul Pasig class to RX, plus it was our turn to babysit for that Saturday’s Radio 1.  Thank goodness Gino was able to wait for me so I’d have a ride to Cavite.  Right after Radio 1 at around 2pm, finally we were able to leave.  So with me in the car was Gino, Igi, and Vinz:

By the time we got there, our officemates were already in the middle of doing games and stuff.  We got there just in time for the bike races.  There were 2 races; one was with the bikes:

And then there was the trikes, or what looked like trikes, but were actually mad machines of mayhem.  They were impossible to steer, they’re more like wild broncos that would go where they want regardless of where you prod them to go.  Of course I had the inglorious task to join this unfortunate race, and shamed myself with an ungainly performance.  I drove like a tranny granny on crack:

Other than the games, the other highlight of the outing was the drinking session after dinner.  Basically the staff was ferrying between the karaoke marathon and the billiards tournament.  Not being into either activity, I just played the role of photographer, as I flitted like a gnat, from corner to corner, snapping up shots of the RX staff as they did their thing:

I wasn’t able to see what played out during the rest of the party, because although everyone stayed on until the next day, Jude and I went home at around 2am because we both had to be back early the next day.  And instead of sleeping for a couple of hours only to wake up early and drive home, we opted to go home late, while we’re still up and about.

But in general it was a fun get-together, away from work and just hanging out with the guys.
