Last Sunday, Manila Bulletin featured us in their “60 Minutes” series, where interviewees are subjected to 60 minutes of questioning by a panel of interviewers. The panel was composed of: Rachel Barawid, Ronald Lim, Ina Malipot, Jaser Marasigan, and Ivy Mendoza. It was very interesting because this was the first ever panel interview we ever experienced as a tandem. Plus, it’s the first ever interview that focused on our latest incarnation as teachers in St. Paul Pasig. It was just cute that pictures of our students also came out in the newpaper.

It was so cute because earlier last week, our students kept asking us when the issue will come out because they’ll tell their parents to buy copies on that day. We tried to temper their excitement by warning them that although they took pictures of them, it doesn’t guarantee that they’ll use the photos. So we were just so glad that pictures of our girls came out and you could see their lovely faces so clearly. I can almost imagine their faces beaming when they see their pictures in the newspaper.

So again, thanks to Manila Bulletin for featuring us in their “60 Minutes” series in the Students & Campuses section because we really feel honored to be in the company of the other people who were chosen to be part of this. I know we’re also part of the Manila Bulletin family but it’s nevertheless a great honor to be part of this. And I hope the girls all got copies.

djoching, we were so happy that the kids had nice pics. We were telling them not to get their hopes up in case the pictures don’t get used, so we were so happy that you can really see the girls in the pic!
Tara, Karen, when you get back, you’ll be one of our special guests!
Great that you are into teaching now. I hope you understand that you have a lot of young listeners. Please lay back on being green most of the time. Please keep the top ten wholesome for your impressionable young listeners.
My kid is hooked on listening to you since you became her teacher. I just don’t know how to divert her attention when you and Del starts getting a little naughty.
Please keep in mind that your show caters to younger ones as well.
Thanks.
