I was checking my blog stats the other day and I was so surprised that one of my earlier posts from way back, is still one of my most visited in the entire blog. I posted it way back in December last year, but it’s still one of my top posts until now. It’s the, “They Shaved My Pussy!” post, about my Persian cat, Isis, being given a lion cut, where they shave the whole body, except for the head and the tail. We had to shave her because the matted hair was already in large clumps that pulled her skin so tightly that her skin was already sore and breaking in spots. So there was no other way to de-tangle that mess, except to shave it all off and start over again.
So I decided to give you guys an update on how Isis is doing. To be honest, I thought for a while that her hair wouldn’t grow back to its former glory. So I am very happy to report that her hair very quickly grew back, and is now as long and ploofy as it once was, if not fluffier. Now she walks proudly, with her head held high, like the champion cat that she is. So now we spend twice as long to groom her, to make sure the matted clumps don’t return like some resilient rectal itch.

I only took these photos this week. So all’s well that ends well. She’s gorgeous again, and hopefully we’ve learned our lesson and won’t be remiss with our duties as her humans, to ensure that she won’t have to suffer the ignominy of being a shaven pussy once again. And we all know that that is how pussies were meant to be: HAIRY.
