Trust us, our hearts bled at the idea that we could only choose one winner. We held a Panic At The Disco contest, where we gave away 4 Patron tickets to the concert tonight. We asked people to send us pictures of their barkada, showing just how much they want the concert tickets. There were so many good ones, but we narrowed it down to the final 3.
We wanted to post the finalists just so you know how we picked the winners and so you know that we really gave them away (since the promo wasn’t really on-air). So, here they are, the final 3:
3rd Place – We liked this because of the sentiment of the text. They were the ones who really sounded desperate for the tickets. Plus, it’s a cute photo:
2nd Place – We REALLY had a hard time choosing between the final 2. We liked this one because we think it’s the best photo, period. In terms of composition, and the way they posed, and the way they dressed, and the way they emoted; it was pitch-perfect. They embodied what we felt was the typical teenage girl who watches concerts by bands like Panic At The Disco. It broke our hearts not to let these girls win:
1st Place – But in the end, it was our hearts that chose this picture as the winner. It wasn’t as desperate as the 3rd placer, or as sleek as the 2nd placer, but I guess to both Delle and I, we felt it in our guts that it was the clear winner. What sealed the deal was the fact that if they won, it would be their first ever concert, and they’d be watching their favorite band. Plus, it looked like the only picture among the many sent in, that was taken specifically for the ticket giveaway. Most were cute, but they looked like old pictures that they just photoshopped to suit the contest. So enough justification, I guess it boiled down to what appealed to us the most, and it was these four grade 7 kids from Lourdes, Mandaluyong:
So again, congratulations to Bongz Gonzales for winning the 4 Patron tickets to the Panic At The Disco concert tonight, at the Araneta Coliseum. Delle and I are stoked about watching it tonight! Will definitely post about it after the concert.
